WHAT: House Fire

WHERE: 3700 block of Ember Spring, 77339
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: $185,000 in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $65,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within five minutes with light smoke coming from a 2-story home. They made an offensive attack and were told a person may be inside. They forced entry and conducted a primary search with no one found. They encountered heavy smoke and controlled and extinguished the fire. The crews ventilated the home and requested HFD Arson investigators to determine the cause and origin of the fire. Firefighters from Stations 101, 102, 103, 104 and 64 responded to this incident.
