Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man found at 5198 Antoine Drive about 12:15 a.m. today (June 23).
The identity of the victim, 28, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant K. Meek and Detective C. Lafour reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at the above address and found a vehicle parked partially in the street. Its engine was running and bullet holes were visible in the driver’s side window and windshield. The victim was found unresponsive in the driver’s seat. As the door was locked, officers forced entry and determined the victim had been shot multiple times. Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the victim deceased.
At this time, there are no known witnesses or suspects.
