WHAT: Commercial Structure Fire.
WHEN: July 10, 2022 at 10:48 p.m.
WHERE: 2298 S. Hwy 6 at Piping Rock, 77077.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: $55,000 in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $70,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within six minutes to find heavy fire coming from the back of a 1-story commercial building. The patio and nearby exposures were on fire. A primary search was completed, and crews made an attack on the fire. The firefighters extinguished the fire and requested HFD Arson investigators to determine the cause and origin. Crews from Stations 78, 75, 83 and 49 responded to this incident.
