DAMAGE: $15,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Unintentional.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within three minutes to find a fire on the first floor of a 4-story townhome. They extinguished the fire and removed the smoke from the residence. An electrical outlet and nearby items had burned. Crews checked the area with a thermal imaging camera to ensure there were no hidden hotspots and conducted salvage and overhaul. Firefighters from Stations 8, 7, 25 and 18 responded to this incident.
