CAUSE: Unintentional (stove left on for warmth).
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within six minutes to find light smoke coming from the roof a of 2-story apartment. They found and extinguished a fire in the kitchen above the stove on the wall and ceiling above the stove. The walls and ceiling were pulled to check for extension and crews overhauled the unit. The stove top had been left on to keep the apartment warm. 34 personnel responded to this incident, including firefighters from Stations 21, 36, 46, 16, 33, 24, 80 and 30.
