Houston police have learned a man critically injured in a crash in the 20200 block of Westheimer Parkway about 5:35 p.m. on Saturday (April 20) has died.
The identity of the male, 49, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant J. Wu and Officer D. Jones reported:
The male was driving a black Ford F-150 pickup truck westbound at the above address when the vehicle left the roadway and crashed into a tree in the grassy median. Paramedics transported the driver via Life Flight helicopter to an area hospital in critical condition. Doctors pronounced him deceased on Monday (April 22).
The investigation is ongoing.
