HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Detectives M. Bellahna and E. Guan reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting in a parking lot of an apartment complex at the above address and found an adult male and a juvenile female with gunshot wounds.  Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and transported the victims to the hospital.
A preliminary investigation determined a male suspect, known at that time only as “Eastside,” got into a dispute with the male victim.  The incident led to verbal altercations between persons at the location.  During the dispute, a female from one of the groups involved damaged the male victim’s vehicle, which then led to shots being fired.  The male and a juvenile female were struck by the gunfire.  The suspects fled the scene prior to officers’ arrival.
Further investigation identified the Butlers, Bryant and McNeal as the suspects in this case.  The Harris County District Attorney’s Office was contacted and all four suspects were subsequently charged for their roles in the incident.  At this time, all four suspects remain at large.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts wanted suspects or in this case is urged to contact the HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division at 713-308-8800 or speak anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
