Houston police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect wanted in the shooting of a man that occurred at 9418 Almeda Genoa Road about 8:30 p.m. on June 23.
A surveillance photo of the suspect, described only as a black male with locks, is attached to this news release.
The victim, 45, was transported to an area hospital in critical condition.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Detectives R. Cook and K. Vu reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at a business at the above address. They found the victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds inside the business. Paramedics transported him to the hospital.
Investigators learned that the suspect, pictured below, approached the victim as he was attempting to enter his vehicle and fired multiple shots, striking him. The suspect fled the scene on foot.
