Houston police have released surveillance video of two suspects and vehicles sought in the fatal shooting of a male found at 11100 Safeguard Street about 10 p.m. on March 22.
Surveillance video of the suspects and the vehicles is attached to this news release.
The victim has been identified as Matthew Kallie, 24.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives L. Lovelace and M. Hughey reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at the above address and found an unresponsive male with multiple gunshot wounds lying in the street. Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the male, later identified as Mr. Kallie, deceased.
A preliminary investigation and evidence from the scene determined Kallie was walking on Brisbane Street when he was approached by suspects in two separate vehicles, described as a white SUV – possibly a Chevrolet Traverse – and a black, four-door sedan, possibly a Cadillac DTS. The shooter exited the front seat of the sedan and fired a weapon at Kallie.
At this time, there is no known suspect description.
