UPDATE: Suspect Arrested, Another Sought in 2023 Death of Man Found at 2408 Southmore Boulevard

Charges have been filed against one suspect arrested and another sought in the death of a man found deceased at 2408 Southmore Boulevard about 10:10 p.m. on November 22, 2023.
One suspect, Trezzenia Wilson, 40, is charged with murder in the 178th State District Court.  A booking photo of Wilson is attached to this news release.
A second suspect, Darryl Farley, 39, is charged with murder in the same court.  A September 2024 booking photo of Farley, who is not in custody, is attached to this news release.
The victim is identified as Ron Valrie, 41.
HPD Homicide Division Detective J. Jorsch reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a person down call at the above address and found an unresponsive male.  He had suffered blunt force trauma.  Houston Fire Department paramedics were on scene and pronounced the man, later identified as Mr. Valrie, deceased.
An autopsy by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences determined Valrie’s manner of death was a homicide.
Further investigation, evidence from the scene, and witness statements identified Wilson and Farley as the suspects in this case.  The Harris County District Attorney’s Office was contacted and, last Friday (October 18) murder charges were filed on both suspects.
On Tuesday (October 22), Wilson was arrested by the HPD South Gessner Patrol Division Crime Suppression Team without incident and booked into the Harris County Jail.  Farley remains at-large.
