Investigation into Male Found Deceased at 6400 Grape Street

Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a male found after a vehicle fire was extinguished at 6400 Grape Street about 6:45 a.m. on Sunday (November 24).
The identity and cause of death of the male are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant N. Miyako and Detective C. Bowling reported:
HPD patrol officers and Houston Fire Department emergency personnel responded to a vehicle fire at the above address and found a minivan fully engulfed in flames.  Upon extinguishing the fire, the male was found in the driver’s seat.
At this time, the investigation is pending the male’s cause of death, to be determined by an autopsy.  The cause of the fire will be determined by the HFD Arson Bureau.
