Houston police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run crash at 8200 Gulf Freeway (South Interstate Highway 45) about 9:30 p.m. on Thursday (December 19).
The identity of the deceased male, 31, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

The pickup truck then struck the Jeep, causing the Jeep to strike a concrete barrier and roll over. The driver of the pickup truck did not stop to render aid and fled the scene.
The Jeep’s driver was pronounced deceased by responding Houston Fire Department paramedics. The female passenger, 25, in the Jeep was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The male driver, 26, of the Mustang was not injured.
