Person of Interest Sought in Man’s Death at 1703 Gray Street

Houston police are asking for the public’s help in locating a person of interest wanted for questioning in the death of a man found at 1703 Gray Street about 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday (January 14).
The person of interest is described only as unknown black female.  A surveillance photo of the female, who is not charged, is attached to this news release.
The identity of the victim, 66, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives C. Davidson and R. Bounds reported:
HPD patrol officers and Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to a person down call at an apartment complex at the above address and found the man inside an apartment with apparent blunt force trauma injuries.  Paramedics pronounced the man deceased.
A preliminary investigation determined an unknown black female (person of interest) told apartment staff that someone in the man’s apartment needed medical assistance.  The female then left the location before officers arrived.
