Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man and the wounding of two other men at 10950 Bissonnet Street about 1:20 a.m. today (October 25).
The identity of the deceased man, in his 30s, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. The other two males, one in his 30s and the other in his 20s, were transported to an area hospital.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives A. Ferrell, J. Campbell, J. Brown and M. Condon reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at the above address and found three men with gunshot wounds. Two men were shot in the head and one suffered a gunshot wound to the hand. One of the men shot in the head was pronounced deceased at the scene by responding Houston Fire Department paramedics. The two other male victims were transported to an area hospital to be treated for their wounds.
A preliminary investigation determined an unknown suspect, described only as a Hispanic male, arrived at the above location in a red or maroon Nissan Titan pickup truck. The suspect then exited the vehicle, approached all three victims who were standing outside the restaurant, and shot the victims. The suspect then got into the passenger seat of the pickup truck and fled on Bissonnet Street in an unknown direction.
