INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: $193,000 in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $7,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Unintentional.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within four minutes to find smoke coming from a first floor of apartment unit. They found and extinguished a fire around the stove and removed the dry wall to check for extension. There was no extension and crews used a fan to ventilate the unit. Firefighters from Stations 13, 5, 31, 50, 62, 4 and 30 responded to this incident.
