Houston police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect wanted in the stabbing of a male at 12600 East Freeway (East Interstate Highway 10) about 11:40 a.m. on Wednesday (July 26).
Surveillance photos of the suspect, described only as a an unknown male, are attached to this news release.
The male victim was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Detective T. Youll reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a stabbing at the above address and found a male had been stabbed several times while trying to prevent a theft that had occurred at a restaurant at 1094 Federal Road. Officers provided medical assistance until Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and transported the male to the hospital. The suspect fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction.
