Houston police are investigating the fatal stabbing of a male found at 1000 Pierce Street about noon on Saturday (August 26). The identity of the victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. HPD Homicide Division Detectives K. Clark and M. Nicotra reported: HPD patrol officers observed a male down at the intersection of Pierce Street and Main Street. He appeared to have suffered multiple stab wounds. Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and transported the victim to Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center in critical condition. Doctors later pronounced him deceased. According to a witness, the male stumbled into the middle of the intersection and collapsed. The witness attempted to speak to the male, however, he was unresponsive. At this time, there is no known suspect description.
