Bowling reported: HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at the above address and located a vehicle stopped on the shoulder of the freeway. An unresponsive female (Ms. Wilson) and a male were found in the vehicle. Both had been shot. Houston Fire Department paramedics arrived, pronounced Wilson deceased and transported the man, 17, to an area hospital where he was treated and released for a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.A preliminary investigation determined Wilson was driving and attempted to avoid striking a braking vehicle ahead and unintentionally swerved in front of a newer model, black or dark-colored, four-door sedan. The sedan moved to the left of Wilson’s vehicle and an unknown suspect(s) fired shots from the passenger side window. Wilson and a male back seat passenger were struck. A second male passenger inside the vehicle was not injured. At the time, the suspect was described only as a black male in his mid 20s.
