Investigation into Fatal Crash at 7700 Harwin Drive,
Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 7700 Harwin Drive about 1:35 a.m. on Sunday (January 21).
The identity of the deceased female, 25, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant M. Sudduth and Officer J. Trevino reported:
A red Toyota Camry was traveling westbound near the above address when, for unknown reasons, the vehicle let the roadway and struck a tree. The female passenger (victim) was ejected from the vehicle. The male driver, 28, did not render aid and fled the scene on foot.
Houston Fire Department paramedics transported the victim to Ben Taub General Hospital where she was pronounced deceased.
No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
