WHAT: Vacant house fire.
WHEN: August 19, 2024, at 2:22 a.m.
WHERE: 6500 block of Cullen Blvd. 77021.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: $70,000 in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $30,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene to find fire coming from a vacant house and made an offensive attack. They ventilated the roof and conducted a primary search with no one found. The fire was extinguished, and the utilities were controlled. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin of the fire. 35 personnel responded to this incident, including crews from Stations 46, 23, 26, 25, 35 and 24.
