Investigation into Fatal Crash at 9000 Clearwood Drive,
Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 9000 Clearwood Drive about 2:10 a.m. today (October 18).
The identity of the deceased woman, 29, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant D. Griffiths and Officer J. Best reported:
The woman was driving a white Dodge Durango westbound near the above address when she failed to stay in a single lane and struck a tree. The Durango then burst into flames. Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the woman deceased.
The investigation is continuing.
