Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 11921 Bissonnet Street

Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of one man and the wounding of another at 11921 Bissonnet Street about 1:20 a.m. on Sunday (Oct. 27).
The identity of the deceased man, 19, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
A second male, 32, was transported to an area hospital in stable condition and is expected to survive.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Holbrook and Detectives R. Lujan, A. Ledford and E. Camacho reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting in a strip center at the above address and found an unresponsive man with gunshot wounds.  Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced the man deceased.  A second male with gunshot wounds was transported by paramedics to the hospital.
A preliminary investigation determined a gathering was being hosted at the location when a physical altercation ensued.  At some point, a firearm was produced and multiple shots were fired into the crowd.  Both victims were struck by the gunfire.
At this time, there is no known suspect description.
