Houston police have released a composite sketch of a suspect wanted in the shooting of a man in the 8000 block of Katy Freeway (West Interstate Highway 10) about 4:35 p.m. on October 19.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 40 to 50 years of age, with salt and pepper hair. He was wearing a black uniform shirt with a blue and white patch on the arm and a black vest. A composite sketch of the suspect is attached to this news release.
The victim, 23, was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Detective J. Chavez reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a road rage shooting incident near the above address and found a male with multiple gunshot wounds. Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and transported him to the hospital.
A preliminary investigation developed a possible suspect description. The suspect is possibly a security guard and was seen leaving the scene in a black SUV, possibly a Ford Explorer.
