Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 14911 Richmond Avenue about 6:20 p.m. on Thursday (November 14).
The identity of the victim, 34, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant C. Ponder and Detective G. Rangel reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at an apartment complex at the above address and found the victim unresponsive on a set of stairs. He had been shot multiple times. Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the victim deceased.
According to witnesses, a suspect, described only as an unknown black male, was seen fleeing in a matte black, two-door Mercedes Benz.
