Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 12700 East Freeway (East Interstate Highway 10) about 5:10 a.m. today (Oct. 28).
The identity of the male victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant G. Lopez and Officer M. Mathews reported:
The victim, a pedestrian, attempted to cross the westbound lanes of the freeway at the above address when he was struck by multiple vehicles. Paramedics pronounced the male deceased. All drivers stopped and were questioned.
The investigation is continuing.
