Houston police are investigating the shooting of two men at 2122 Gessner Road about 1:10 p.m. on Wednesday (Oct. 27).
The males, 22 and 28 years of age, were in stable condition at area hospitals.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officers L. Castellanos and H. Martinez reported:
Officers were at a business near the above address when they heard multiple gunshots coming from the above address. The officers ran to the location (a business) and observed one male with multiple gunshot wounds in the parking lot. Officers applied a tourniquet to the male and called HFD paramedics to the scene. Paramedics transported the man to a hospital.
Some time later, officers were advised that a second male drove himself to a nearby urgent care facility for treatment of a gunshot wound to the leg. He was eventually transported to a hospital for treatment.
Officers interviewed multiple witnesses and recovered two guns at the scene. Evidence indicates the two males shot each other during an argument. At this time, no charges have been filed and the investigation is continuing.
Anyone with additional information in this case is urged to contact the HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division at 713-308-8800.
