Suspect Charged, Wanted in April Shooting at 6200 Fondren Road

Charges have been filed against a suspect wanted in a shooting incident at 6200 Fondren Road about 11:20 p.m. on April 20.
The suspect, Yordan Bacallao-Falcon, 28, is charged with two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in the 182nd State District Court. A May, 2023 booking photo of Bacallao-Falcon, who is not in custody, is attached to this news release.
HPD Major Assaults and Family Violence Division Detectives K. Shaver and J. Windham reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at the above address and learned two women, 24 and 23, were shot at while driving on Fondren Road. The women told officers a white, four-door Porsche vehicle pulled up beside them, fired multiple shots, then drove to the opposite side of their vehicle. Driving in fear of her life, the victim’s vehicle struck the suspect’s vehicle, causing minor damage. The suspect fled the scene.
No one was seriously injured.
Further investigation identified Bacallao-Falcon as the suspect in this incident and, on May 22, he was subsequently charged for his role in the incident.
