Charges have been filed against two suspects arrested in the fatal shooting of a juvenile male at 2920 Brewster Street about 5:20 p.m. on August 15, 2022.
The suspects, Marcus Anderson, 21, and Camrese Holloway, 20, are charged with capital murder in the 338th State District Court. Booking photos os Anderson and Holloway are attached to this news release.
They are accused in the death of Eddzavian Galloway, 15.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant W. Dunn and Detective M. Hughey reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at the residence at the above address and found the victim unresponsive on the driveway. Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and transported the victim, later identified as Galloway, to Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased.
A preliminary investigation indicated a gunshot was heard and a dark gray or green vehicle of unknown make and model was seen fleeing the area.
After a lengthy investigation, Holloway and Anderson were identified as suspects in this case. Holloway, who is in custody on unrelated charges, was charged on Thursday (June 27).
HPD officers arrested Anderson on Wednesday (June 26) and he was subsequently charged on Thursday (June 27).
