Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a man found at 100 Travis Street about 7:40 a.m. on Tuesday (October 1).
The identity of the male is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives K. Persad and L. Gonzales reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a report of a deceased person found under a freeway overpass at the above address. Houston Fire Department paramedics initially responded to the scene and observed the man in an advanced stage of decomposition.
An autopsy will be conducted by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences to determine the male’s manner and cause of death.
