Investigation into Fatal Crash at 3601 Blalock Road,
Houston police are investigating the fatal crash that occurred at 3601 Blalock Road about 7:35 p.m. on Saturday (Oct. 19).
The identity of the deceased male is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant Y. Ramirez and Officer L. Fenoglio reported:
Officers responded to a report of an auto-pedestrian crash at the above address. The female driver, 38, of a silver Honda Pilot was traveling southbound at the above address when she struck the victim who was attempting to cross the street, not in a crosswalk.
Paramedics transported the male to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
The driver remained at the scene, did not show signs of intoxication, and was questioned and released.
The investigation is continuing.
