Houston police are investigating the fatal stabbing of a male at 6601 Fondren Road about 6:30 a.m. today (October 29).
The identity of the victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives D. Hobson and R. Rivera reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a stabbing in a parking lot near the above address and learned the victim was chased and stabbed multiple times by an unknown suspect(s). The victim managed to cross the street and alerted a gas station employee before he collapsed and became unresponsive.
The employee called 9-1-1 and Houston Fire Department paramedics transported the victim to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
At this time, the suspect is described only as a white male.
