Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 419 West Little York Road, Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man and wounding of a woman at 419 West Little York Road about 11:05 p.m. on Sunday (Oct. 20).
The identity of the deceased victim, 29, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. The female victim, 56, suffered a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant. C. LaFour and Detective A. Hernandez reported:
Officers were dispatched to a shooting call at a strip center parking lot at the above address and located a male lying outside the front doors of a business. He had suffered multiple gunshot wounds. Paramedics pronounced him deceased. Officers learned a second victim, a female, suffered a gunshot wound to her right leg. Paramedics transported her to an area hospital, where doctors said she is expected to survive her injuries.
The suspect(s) fled the scene prior to officers arriving. There is no known suspect description or motive in the shooting at this time.
