Composite Sketch of Suspect Wanted in Shooting at 1221 Redford Street

Houston police have released a composite sketch of a suspect wanted in the shooting of a man that occurred at 1221 Redford Street about 5 p.m. on April 30.
The suspect is described as a dark skinned black male, with a slim build who weighs approximately 140 to 150 pounds.  He is believed to be in his mid 40s, has a low crew cut, no facial hair, and full arm tattoos on both arms. A composite sketch of the suspect is attached to this news release.
The victim, Lorenzo Polk, 33, was transported to an area hospital.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Detective S. Buchanan reported:
Mr. Polk was outside the entrance of his apartment complex at the above address when the unknown suspect approached him. Polk told investigators the suspect asked him to leave, and when he refused, the suspect produced a gun and fired multiple shots. Polk was struck multiple times and transported to the hospital by a private vehicle. He was listed in stable condition.
The suspect is known to hang out and possibly live in the apartment complex at the above address.
