UPDATE: Suspect Arrested, Charged in Fatal Shooting at 600 West Canino Road

Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the fatal shooting of a man found at 600 West Canino Road about 9:50 p.m. on April 15.
The suspect, Osman Estanly Solorzano Sanchez, 32, is charged with murder and tampering/fabricating evidence in the 230th State District Court.  A booking photo of Solorzano Sanchez is attached to this news release.
The victim is identified as Ricardo Vega, 27.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeants R. Watson, M. Burrow, C. LaFour and Detective S. Overstreet reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at the above address and learned Houston Fire Department paramedics found Mr. Vega in the driver’s seat of his vehicle, and pronounced him deceased.
At that time, the suspect was believed to have fled the scene in a vehicle described only as a tan or beige Chevrolet pickup truck.
Further investigation identified Solorzano Sanchez as the suspect in this case.  Solorzano Sanchez was arrested on Monday (April 22) by the HPD North Patrol Division Crime Suppression Team without incident and subsequently charged for his role in the shooting.
