Surveillance Video of Suspect Charged, Wanted in Shooting at 8600 Kirby Drive

Houston police are asking for the public’s help locating a suspect charged in the shooting of two females that occurred about 9:35 p.m. at 8600 Kirby Drive on April 16.
The suspect, Jaelyn Deshawn Turner, 25, is charged with two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in the 230th State District Court.
Surveillance video of Turner, two persons of interests and the shooting incident is attached to this news release. A surveillance photo of Turner and two persons of interest are below.
HPD Major Assaults and Family Violence Division Sergeant V. Garcia and Detective D. Crandall reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at 2200 South Loop West (South Interstate Highway 610) and found a red Honda car with bullet holes and blood inside. Officers later learned two female victims, ages 24 and 25, were transported to an area hospital via private vehicle with non life-threatening gunshot wounds.
Witnesses stated the incident began at 9200 South Main Street and escalated to a shooting at 8600 Kirby Drive.
Further investigation identified Turner as a suspect and he was charged for his role in the shooting on May 2.
Detectives are also seeking two unidentified persons of interest.
