Suspect Arrested, Charged in Fatal Assault at 2010 North Main Street

Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the fatal assault of a man at 2010 North Main Street about 7 a.m. on Monday (Oct. 2).
The suspect, Todd Jordashe Jackson, 24, is charged with murder in the 486th State District Court.
The identity of the victim, 46, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J. Stroble and Detective K. Collier reported:
Officers responded to an assault call in an apartment at the above address and found the victim suffering from blunt force trauma.  Paramedics transported the man to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
Jackson, a family member of the victim, was detained at the scene, questioned and subsequently charged for his role in the assault.  He was then booked into the Harris County Jail.
