Surveillance Video of Wanted Suspect in December 2023 Shooting at 1933 Hussion Street


Houston police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect wanted in the shooting of a man at 1933 Hussion Street about 1:20 a.m. on December 30, 2023.
The suspect is described as a black male between 5 feet 8 inches and 6 feet tall with a slim build.  He was wearing a mask, a dark-colored hoodie and gray sweat pants .  Surveillance video of the suspect is attached to this news release.
The male victim, 39, is expected to survive his injuries.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Detectives T. Forsythe and J. Windham reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at an apartment complex at the above address and a security guard had suffered gunshot wounds.  Houston Fire Department paramedics transported the victim to an area hospital in critical condition.
Further investigation and surveillance video developed a description on the wanted suspect, seen in the attached video.
