Surveillance Photos Released in Investigation into Shooting at 7900 Corporate Drive, Houston police have released surveillance photos of a suspect vehicle and a person of interest in the shooting of a juvenile male in the 7900 block of Corporate Drive about 2:50 p.m. on Sunday (April 14).
The suspect vehicle is a gray Toyota Avalon with damage to the front left side and back passenger side. The person of interest is described only as a black female wearing pink shoes. Photos of the vehicle and person of interest are attached to this news release.
The male victim, 7, was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
HPD Major Assaults and Family Violence Division Detectives O. Tapia and Q. Nguyen reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at the above address and found the juvenile receiving medical treatment from paramedics. He had suffered a gunshot wound and was transported to an area hospital.
Investigators learned a suspect, described only as a possible black male with locks, was shooting at a person(s) in a blue truck when at least one shot struck the victim, who was on a sidewalk. The suspect’s vehicle fled the scene.
Further investigation developed a person of interest who investigators believe may know the identity of the suspect.
