Warehouse Fire in The Spring Branch East Area

Warehouse Fire
WHEN:

8020 Blankenship, 77055
INJURIES:
No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED:
More than $5.9 million in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE:
$6 thousand in estimated damage.
CAUSE:
Unintentional
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Firefighters arrived on scene to find light smoke coming from a warehouse and found a fire inside. The building’s sprinkler system had kept the fire contained and firefighters completed extinguishment. Multiple bales of linens near an active conveyer belt had burned. Crews ventilated the structure and secured the building with company representatives on-site. Firefighters from Stations 2, 4, 5, 13, 50, 77 and 38 responded to this incident.
