Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a male found at 16803 Hedgecroft Drive about 11 a.m. on Tuesday (June 6).
The identity of the deceased male is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives J. Brown and M. Condon reported:
A passerby found the body of a male in an advanced state of decomposition under a bridge at the above address. A preliminary investigation indicated the male may have been living underneath the bridge.
An autopsy conducted by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences determined the male had been shot at least once.
At this time, there is no known motive or suspect(s).
