Investigation into Shooting at 6318 Thrush Drive, Houston police are investigating the shooting of a woman at 6318 Thrush Drive about 11:20 p.m. on Monday (Dec. 18).
The victim, 23, was transported to an area hospital and is expected to survive her injury.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Detective Z. Brumley reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call outside a residence at the above address and found the victim suffering from one gunshot wound. Houston Fire Department paramedics transported her to the hospital.
Investigators learned the victim was shot by an unknown suspect. She ran to her neighbor, who then called 9-1-1.
At this time, there is no known motive.
