Suspect Arrested, Charged in Fatal Shooting at 2121 De Walt Street, Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the fatal shooting of a woman at 2121 De Walt Street about 7:10 p.m. on Sunday (Aug. 27).
The suspect, Bryan A. Lee, 25, is charged with murder and felon in possession of a weapon in the 351st State District Court. A booking photo of Lee is attached to this news release.
The identity of the victim, 66, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives A. Finlay and L. Kauffman reported:
Officers responded to a residence at the above address and found a male, Lee, sitting in a lawn chair within a gated private property. Directly outside of the property, in the driveway, was the body of an unresponsive woman. Paramedics pronounced the female deceased due to an apparent gunshot wound.
Lee was identified as the suspect in the shooting and was taken into custody. He was transported to the Harris County Jail and subsequently charged.
